Chuck Archard (bass guitar):Cuck Archard has been playing the electric bass guitar since the early 1970s. He holds BME and MME degrees from Morehead State University and is currently an Artist in Residence at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.
Chuck is an accomplished bassist, composer and educator. He is a member of ASCAP and a primary composer for the Power House Music Library (mymusicsource.com) His original works have been played on all of the major television networks as well as Fox, HBO, SHOWTIME, and thirty international markets. His music has been used in numerous motion pictures including, Career Girls, Substance Of Fire and Santa, Jr.
He is the author of one of the best selling bass instruction books Building Bass Lines published by Alfred, Inc. and he has had two articles published in Bass Player Magazine. January 2006 Interview with bassist Don Payne (Ornette Coleman, Tony Bennett), April 2007 Interview with bassist Linley Marthe (Joe Zawinul). His latest interview with bassist Rob Amster (Kurt Elling) will be in an upcoming 2009 Bass Player magazine edition.
Currently, Chuck is working with legendary bassist Stanley Clarke. He is transcribing all of Stanley’s compositions for future publications.
Chuck is the composer of two major works written for Jazz Legends, Peter Erskine, Joe Morello and Danny Gottlieb, commissioned by the Percussive Arts Society.
Chuck is the co-owner/composer of World Time Music, a company specializing in jazz/world music. World Time Music is distributed exclusively by Hal Leonard, Inc.
He has performed and recorded with many artists including, Peter Erskine, Danny Gottlieb, Cal Collins, Al Vizzuti, Romero Lubambo, Larry Coryell, Isaac Hayes and has performed on network and international television shows and numerous Jazz Festivals.
Chuck is in demand studio musician playing on more than one hundred CDs, national television commercials and is the bassist for Warner Brothers and Shawnee Press educational publications.
Shannon Caine (flute):Shannon currently manages her own successful Special Event Music Design Company, Beautiful Music. She has performed for thousands of weddings and special events throughout the Southeast with Central Florida’s finest musicians since 1989.
Her love of music is captured in her work ranging from the smallest intimate event to large scale celebrity events with full orchestras of over 100 members. She has been active with the Calvary Assembly of God in Winter Park since 1979. Shannon began playing the flute at age 12. She is currently a Walt Disney Solo Flutist for Special Events, Fairytale Weddings and Conventions as well as Flutist for Walt Disney Orchestra for Candlelight. During the Holidays Shannon entertained thousands of Guests nightly at the Sea World Shamu Believe show with her latest ensemble the Muse.
Shannon is the founder and director of The Orlando Flute Choir est. 1989 that has been featured at Disney World, Sea World and other distinctive locations with Professional Performers from all walks of life. Recording projects include Christmas from the Castle with World Harpist – Meko. She has been described as the Singing Flute displaying a distinctive tone that is reflective and poetic creating a colorful musical palette for the listener.
She has a CD "Welcome To Paradise Café" with original compositions with Latin and romantic influences, offered by Beautiful Music Sounds Orchestra.

Bill Carmichael (trumpet):Bill has been a featured trumpet soloist and lead player on many projects in Florida and beyond. In addition to his solo work he is an in demand teacher and clinician across the country. He has performed at Disney World, Universal Studios and with many performers such as Aretha Franklin, John Tesh, and The Temptations. He's also had his recordings used on Nickelodeon and the Bravo Network in addition to numerous local TV commercials.
Tony Castillo (Keyboards):A former classically trained pianist, Tony Castillo was born in New York City in 1977. He began his studies at the age of 10 at the Steinway and Sons classical program in Boston Ma. Continuing at the All Newton Music School in West Newton (Massachusetts), he studied the music of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and Rachmaninoff among others. Following his heart, Tony went on to study classical and Jazz piano at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. In 1996, he won best outstanding musician and received several scholarships.
Tony continued developing his sound and recorded his first album as a soloist, (Story Ave), Tropical (EarthQuake Records), a compilation of Jazz and R+B funk. During this period he was represented by Berklee College of Music to perform at the Heineken Jazz festival.
Tony’s career took off as a sideman, playing with Bob Moses, Paul Brown, Jeff Kashiwa(Rippingtons) Ed Calle, Marc Antoine, Chieli Minucci Waler Beasley, Charles haynes and Wayne Naus among others. Tony is currently working with Universal Billboard artist Tito Nieves.
Marc Clermont (drums):Marc started his professional career in Chicago at the young age of fifteen and has become well versed in many styles of music after having studied privately with many top clinicians & teachers.He has played on hundreds of recording sessions, performed at many concerts and festivals in North America and the Caribbean Isles, and has been teaching private drum lessons to a number of drummers in Central Florida and the Tampa Bay area for the last 25 years.
While with the band Tapaztry (voted best Jazz Group in Central Fl. 1979-Sentinel Star People’s Poll) he became a drum clinician in the 80’s and endorsed by Yamaha Drums, R.I.M.S. and Beato Percussion, performed clinics with David Garibaldi, Jeff Hamilton, Dom Famularo and Gumbi Ortiz at the University of Tampa. and toured/performed at clinics in Florida, California and Illinois, with Seymour Duncan, George Terry, Paul Pesco, Jeff Beck, Ted Nugent, Eddie Van Halen and others.
Marc was on the CBS affiliate V-32 television show “Jazz Is†with world renowned guitarist Mike Pachelli for four years. He performed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999 and recorded with international recording artist, Melanie, at her 30 year Woodstock Reunion concert a “Day in the Garden†in Bethel, New York.
As lead vocalist and percussionist with the “Hard Rock Live†corporate band performed shows and recorded with such Classic Rock artists as: Spencer Davis, Edgar Winter, John Entwistle of the Who, Eric Burdon of the Animals, Les Dudek of Allman Brothers, Leslie West of Mountain, Lee Oskaar of War, Bobby Kimball of Toto, James Jameson of Survivor (of Rocky fame), Rick Derringer, Pat Travers, Davy Jones of the Monkees, Mike Pinera of Blues Image & Iron Butterfly.
He performed, toured and recorded with R&B and Blues artists: Percy Sledge, Johnny Thunder, The Dixie Cups, The Coasters, Don Chery, Ernie Lancaster, Carla Thomas, Ben E. King, and Little Anthony & the Imperials, Sissaundra Lewis, and Gerald Cassanova.

Pat Gallo (bass):A great love for music brought Pat through garage bands in the 60's, bar bands in the 70's, and the "Top 40" hotel circuit during the 80's. Since settling in Orlando in the early 90's, following his musical passion has taken him to parts of Europe, Japan, the Middle East, and various Caribbean locations. Like many jobbing musicians, he backs oldies artists, plays corporate and private events and festivals. Universal Studios Florida remains a primary venue and he has worked at every major theme park in the area. He teaches privately and as an adjunct instructor for Seminole Community College. A lifelong student of music, he is pursuing graduate studies in jazz at the University of Central Florida.
Bobby Koelble (guitar):Bobby is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and Adjunct Professor of Jazz Guitar at UCF (Orlando) and Rollins College (Winter Park). He has performed in the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan and throughout the Caribbean. Performance credits include Sam Rivers, Larry Coryell, Danny Gottlieb, Chris Potter and Lou Donaldson.
He plays in Orlando every Wednesday night at Taste restaurant with his modern jazz group the Absinthe Trio (www.myspace.com/acidjazztheabsinthe).
Ed Krout (piano/keys):Ed Krout is a jazz pianist, composer/arranger/producer and musical director. He is presently engaged as a producer and president of Phat Planet Recording Studios in Orlando, FL. Ed has a soulful, jazzy touch which pervades his many styles of playing. Accomplishments include: Show-band & small group work on Royal Caribbean, NCL & Majesty cruise lines. The fusion group; "AIRTIGHT" with a C.D. release in 1994. He produced five complete Broadway-style production shows for Dolphin Cruise Lines. He toured with the blues great "Yvonne Jackson" (Enja Records) and traveled as her musical director to Europe and Asia.
Ed has played piano/keyboards in the Broadway road-show productions of "West Side Story", "Grease", and "The Music of Andrew Lloyd Weber". He has arranged and scored cabaret shows for Shelly Burch (Broadway and TV soap star) and Martin Charnin (composer of Annie). He also has worked with Irene Cara (Fame, Flashdance) on her upcoming release. Ed also music-directed a full stage production of "Peter Pan" at the Orlando Civic Theatre, where he re-scored the show giving it a fresh, new sound with hip-hop, swing, and funky new arrangements.
In 2006 he released a jazz album produced for Zenith Records (UK) with “Toscha Comeauxâ€, a fresh, new Jazz/R&B artist! Currently, Ed is playing B3 organ with “Beautiful Bobby Blackmon†at the BB Kings blues club in Orlando. With such a wide range of experience behind him, Ed brings an extraordinarily unique quality to The Phat Planet Studios, and to all of his other musical endeavors; Including the underlying desire to create and record quality music that emanates from the heart.
Greg Little (trumpet):Greg Little attended Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) as a Jazz Studies major where he was introduced to the likes of Miles Davis, Wayne shorter, Duke Ellington & Thelonious Monk. During his latter years at VCU he studied and played with pianist Ellis Marsalis, who furthered his musical knowledge. Since then, Greg has recorded or played with Jazz greats: Frank, Foster, James Genus, Clarence Penn, Benny Carter, Nelson Riddle Orchestra, Braxton Brothers... Pop stars: Stephanie Mills, Temptations, Four Tops, Ojays... Salsa Stars: Andy Montanez, Lalo Rodriguez, Miles Pena, Cano Estremera. Greg Currently freelances in the Central Florida area playing trumpet & EVI as well as teaching in clinics and private lessons.

Curtis Nutall (drums):Curtis Nutall has been a professional drummer for over thirty years. He has worked with Jeff Kashiwa, Chieli Minucci, Joe Louis walker, Bonnie Raitt, Steve Cropper and, Joe Henderson to name a few. Curtis is a founding member of Central Florida’s own Nu Jazz/Fusion group, The Groovemasters.
Roger Patenaude (guitar):Roger Patenaude has been performing, teaching and recording in Florida for the past twenty years. He has played at a variety of corporate, public and private events. Venues include Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World and resorts throughout Florida such as the Gaylord Palms, Ritz Carlton and the Don CeSar. Roger accompanied World Class Flutist Sir James Galway, with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. He was a member of The World’s Fastest Band, performing at the Winston and Nextel Cup Awards ceremonies in Miami and the Waldorf Astoria in New York City; as seen on NBC, TNT and The Speed Channel. Roger wrote, produced and performed several ensemble pieces for an episode of HGTV’s Home Matters.

Robert Wawoe (Bassist):Robert, the Band Parent who came up with the idea for this concert at Seminole High School, is a multi-instrumentalist, producer-engineer. Better known amongst his peers for his bass work on both upright- and electric bass, his production work ranges from independent music and film projects to full-blown show productions for major corporate clients. His knowledge of a range of international musical styles puts him on the cutting edge of music production across all genres.
He has worked with the likes of Irene Cara, Warren Hill, Paul Brown, Chieli Minucci and Jeff Kashiwa among others. He is the owner of Divi Music Group, LLC , an all inclusive production company, and a partner and lead in-house producer/engineer at Phat Planet Studios in Orlando FL. Current projects the first studio release by his own band The Groovemasters,due in April 2009.
